Wendi Gilbert has spent over 30 years working in Advertising, Marketing and Production. Since 2002, she has been involved with Make A Difference Day, one of the largest single-day volunteer efforts in the nation, developing and implementing kindness projects in K-12 schools. Wendi has been researching the kindness movement in America for over 4 years and has assembled overwhelmingly positive data on the number of kindness leaders, organizations and initiatives. Wendi’s life mission is to “rally and unite people for good.” Bringing together kindness leaders and youth ambassadors at the National KindnessCollective, in San Francisco, April 20-22, 2018 is her life work “in action.” By educating, inspiring and guiding our country’s youth to be the compassionate, generous and motivated leaders of today, the world will be a far kinder place tomorrow.
Wendi attended Northwestern University with a degree in Radio/TV/Film and worked for 20+ years as an Advertising Producer, and at age 27, was named the youngest Vice-President of Ogilvy & Mather Advertising. After moving from New York in 1990, she continued producing and co-founded a corporate production company with her husband, Paul. For 6 years, she was the managing and marketing director for the Life Balance Institute. She lined produced 35 expert interviews for Jennifer Siebel Newsom’s award-winning documentary: The Mask You Live In. and then launched her own project management/production services company providing immediate support for executives entitled: 911Wendi.
