Jennifer Dulski leads Facebook Groups -- a product central to the new Facebook mission to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. More than 1 billion people use Facebook Groups to participate in communities that matter to them on topics from parenting to health to passionate hobbies to mobilizing around disaster response.
Jennifer is an accomplished leader and entrepreneur, with more than 18 years of experience in both successful startups and big-brand internet companies. Prior to Facebook, Jennifer served as president & COO of Change.org, a social enterprise company that empowers people everywhere to create the change they want to see and enables companies and elected officials to engage in dialogue with their constituents. Under her leadership Change.org grew from 18 million users to nearly 200 million, and many thousands of social change campaigns were successful around the world.
She was an early Yahoo! employee, rising in the ranks over her 9-year tenure to ultimately lead one of the company's 6 business units as group VP and general manager of Local and Marketplaces. In 2007, Jennifer left Yahoo! to become co-founder and CEO of The Dealmap, a mobile, location-based deals site that Google acquired in 2011, making Jennifer the first woman to sell a company to Google. She stayed at Google for nearly 2 years as a senior executive before joining Change.org.
Jennifer has a deep passion for making the world a better place. Early in her career, she was the founder and executive director of Summerbridge Pittsburgh (part of the Breakthrough Collaborative), a nonprofit organization that helps underserved middle school students become first generation college graduates.
A prominent thought leader in Silicon Valley, she has been featured in outlets including CNN, New York Times, Forbes, and Businessweek and writes frequently about management and leadership for LinkedIn Influencers, Fortune and Huffington Post. Her first book Purposeful, about how each of us can be movement starters, will be published by Penguin Portfolio in May of 2018.
