Well, after over 8 months of working to get this conference off the ground, meeting with potential speakers and visiting different technology companies, I am happy to announce that registration for the Wisdom 2.0 conference is now open.

Considering the state of the economy, we have worked very hard to keep the cost low, while at the same time making sure we can put on the best conference.

It has been exciting to see the tremendous support from people in various areas -- technology leaders, business leaders, mind/body/health teachers -- for this conference and the larger question of what it means to live a mindful and meaningful life in our day and age, and use technology, including social media, effectively.

The best way to stay in touch is either through wisdom2conf on Twitter (@ replies are always welome) or the Facebook page. Both are checked regularly.

But as most of us know, while technology is useful for some communication, there is nothing quite like in-person contact. So please stay in touch via technology, and I also hope to see you at the Wisdom 2.0 conference. You can register here.

There will be an array of panels and speakers sharing insights on this subject, and also time for small group interaction where people can get to know one another and develop connections.
